Activate a policy

In Kazakhstan an electronic policy is activated automatically from its start date. We explain how it works and where to enter a promo code.

How it works

The policy is issued and paid for on the insurer's website — no separate activation code is needed.

The e-policy takes effect from the chosen start date and appears in the unified database at once.

If you have a promo code or discount, enter it on the insurer's site at checkout, before paying.

The policy is visible in the insurer's cabinet or app and in the unified database by IIN.

Polis Online does not issue activation codes — we are an information service. The insurer activates the policy at checkout on its own site.

Do I need to activate an e-policy separately?

No. The policy takes effect automatically from the start date set at checkout. No separate activation is required.

Where do I enter a promo code?

A promo code is entered on the insurer's website at checkout, before payment. Polis Online does not issue its own promo codes.

How do I confirm the policy is active?

The policy status is visible in the insurer's account or app, and in the unified ESBD database by the owner's IIN.
